How long is a recovery session?
Most sessions last between 25 and 60 minutes, depending on the service you choose. We recommend arriving a few minutes early so you can settle in and make the most of your session.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. All sessions are booked online to ensure availability and allow you to choose a time that suits your schedule.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing. For compression boot sessions, shorts or loose-fitting trousers are recommended. For red light therapy, exposing the treatment area allows the light to reach the skin more effectively.
Can I combine both therapies?
Absolutely. Our Recovery Combo combines compression therapy and red light therapy in one session, giving you the benefits of both treatments at the same time.
How often should I book a session?
This depends on your goals.
- General wellness: 1 session per week
- Regular training: 2–3 sessions per week
- Heavy training or competition: 3–5 sessions per week
Many of our clients choose a bundle or membership to make regular recovery more affordable.
Is recovery therapy only for athletes?
Not at all. While athletes benefit greatly from our recovery sessions, they’re also ideal for gym-goers, runners, cyclists, busy professionals, travellers, and anyone experiencing muscle fatigue or looking to support their overall wellbeing.
Are the treatments painful?
No. Both compression therapy and red light therapy are designed to be comfortable and relaxing. Most clients find the experience calming and leave feeling refreshed.
Can I use compression boots if I have an injury?
Compression therapy may not be suitable for certain medical conditions or acute injuries. If you have a medical condition, recent surgery, a blood clotting disorder, or are unsure whether treatment is appropriate, please consult your healthcare professional before booking.
What happens during my first visit?
We’ll welcome you, explain the recovery options, answer any questions, and ensure you’re comfortable before your session begins. Once you’re set up, all you need to do is relax while the technology does the work.
Do you offer memberships or packages?
Yes. We offer Once-Off Sessions, Session Bundles, and Monthly Memberships, making it easy to choose the option that best fits your recovery routine and budget.
Is red light therapy safe?
Yes. Red light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses clinically researched wavelengths of red and near-infrared light. Protective eyewear is provided where appropriate, and our team will guide you through the session.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Yes. You can manage your booking online. Please refer to our booking policy for cancellation and rescheduling timeframes.
